Terry Rath commissioned several paintings to enhance the lobby area of his brand new Pet Spot day care center.

The check-in area has computer desks flanked by two support columns. The concept of complimentary paintings on each column works very well here.

The carefree Casual Couple are moving away from the viewer as they face the column across the desks.

The Sophisticated Couple are seen walking toward the viewer as they look over to the Casuals.

The entrance canopy was included in each painting to reinforce the brand name and logo of Rath's enterprise.

Once he saw the preliminary concept sketches his only request was that they be executed in the most permanent and lasting medium possible - oil on canvas.
