An elderly woman phoned me one evening wondering if I'd consider painting her son's house as a surprise birthday gift for him. I wanted to take some reference photos so I drove the short distance to Eden Park, Cincinnati. There was a remarkable gate leading into the back yard. This feature said "Home" as much as the house itself and became the image we settled upon.
