I was asked to paint a favorite scene from this person's childhood which happened to be the little Deli down the block from where he grew up. There were rumors that it was scheduled to be demolished soon so it became a priority for this gentleman to capture a part of his past before it passed. Years later I added his classic '56 Green Buick to the painting. It appears in the Cars & Cycles section of this site.
